Westmorland and Furness Councillors
Elections took place in May 2022 to elect 65 Councillors to Westmorland and Furness Council.
The first Westmorland and Furness Councillors will serve a five-year term of office. The first year on a 'Shadow Authority' to oversee the planning and preparation for the new unitary council, followed by four years on Westmorland and Furness Council.

There are no longer councillors for Cumbria County Council, Barrow Borough Council, Eden District Council or South Lakeland District Council. These councils have been replaced by the new Westmorland and Furness unitary council.

The Westmorland and Furness Council area covers the Parliamentary constituencies of Barrow & Furness, Penrith and The Border, and Westmorland & Lonsdale.
Tim Farron is the MP for the Westmorland & Lonsdale constituency.
Simon Fell is the MP for the Barrow & Furness constituency.
Neil Hudson is the MP for the Penrith and the Border constituency.
