Open data
Last Updated: 30 August 2024
We are committed to open data and transparency as set out in the Local Government Transparency Code 2015 and EU INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community) directive.
We are working on the way we make our data freely available to everyone in a format that can be reused. Data is added to this directory on a regular basis as it becomes available and to meet the requirements of the Transparency Code.
Most of the data we publish can be used by anyone. If you wish to use this data you do not need to ask for permission to do so, but you will have to agree to the terms of the Open Government License for Public Sector Information (OGL).
If the data isn't available under the OGL it will be clearly labelled with the relevant licence. More information on how our data can be used is on the transparency and data licensing page.
Using our data
We are interested in who is using our data and how it is being used. So if you're interested in our data, developed an app or have a story to share, please let us know by emailing opendata@southlakeland.gov.uk
